This market isn’t a massive place but it does have some incredible touristic appeal set against the old boats and eateries that make Nyhavn a must visit location (It's the postcard image of Copenhagen with the colourful houses lined up on the waterfront). So prepare to stock up on your gifts while hanging out in the heart of old Copenhagen.

Enjoy a walk in the Park

Copenhagen is such a green city we have plenty of parks for you to enjoy the change of season. Enjoy the sunny days and turning of the leaves in our favourite urban nature spots.

For a break in the center of town then try the free Botanical Garden which has a lake and landscaping along with specialised plant houses with a large display of cacti and tropical plants.

Fælledsparken

This big park is more like a nature park - located between Nørrebro and Østerbro, right behind the main hospital, Rigshospitalet. Our favorite feature is the lake and secret paths through the trees but there is also a skate park and the usual recreational areas.

Østre Anlæg

This park is right above the botanical garden and just behind the National Gallery of Denmark. This park has lots of lakes and is one of our favorites for a woodland escape from the city.
