Europe’s Famous Hostels is an association of 54 independently run hostels. We're located all over Europe and provide a network for backpackers to trust as they travel around Europe connecting each destination. Our association was born from wanting to promote each other and create a community in the hostel and travel industry that maintained standards - the best, most fun hostels, with a genuine backpacker experience. There is only one Famous Hostel in each destination, and Copenhagen Downtown Hostel is the Famous Hostel for Copenhagen!

Urban Oasis Hostel is a family-run, eco-conscious hostel located in a beautifully restored Liberty-style villa in the center of Lecce. With its lush garden, handmade furnishings, and strong community spirit, it offers travelers a warm, authentic, and sustainable experience in Southern Italy. 
At Urban Oasis, the moment you step inside you feel more like you’ve entered an authentic Italian home. Just minutes from Lecce’s train station and historic center and close walking distance to Sant’Oronzo Square and Basilica di Santa Croce, the property is set within a restored 20th- century Salento-style house full of character and charm. The team have thoughtfully infused an eco-conscious and sustainable hostel with community values in every corner — from their lush garden with fruit trees to the reclaimed-wood furniture crafted by hand to composting systems that help nourish the garden.
The hostel’s intimate size makes it especially inviting: five dormitories and a selection of private rooms are complemented by shared kitchens, cosy reading nooks, and open-air spaces designed to bring people together. Small but meaningful touches - like a communal kitchen storage for leftover food and beach gear passed along by previous guests — encourage a sense of reuse, reduce, and recycle. The best party Hostel in the network - Copenhagen Downtown Hostel
Famous Hostels have plenty of amazing hostels, but there is one that is the best for parties!! Right here at Copenhagen Downtown we throw epic parties. Not only do we have live music twice a week and happy hours every day in our main bar, but our themed parties and games nights are also known to get wild. Ever been to one of our Full Moon Beach Parties? We have sand, we have buckets of drinks, and we have bikinis. We have it all!
Our live music stage and event space downstairs means we can have club nights in our Downunder venue while the party is still rocking at the upstairs bar, and here you can find our DJs spinning tunes into the early hours.
