Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix
August 8-10th
Watch classic race cars (think vintage Bugattis and Porsches) speed around a temporary track at Bellahøj Park. With historic racing classes and pro-am celebrity duels - sometimes including royalty - this motorsport event offers spectacle, car shows, and interactive demonstrations.
Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix is a flagship in Danish motorsport. CHGP is a race in Bellahøj, Copenhagen - action, drama, speed and entertainment for the whole family.
Here we celebrate historic cars and famous drivers, from our Danish idols to the many foreign stars, for a whole weekend in August every year. With more than 33,000 guests and 150 drivers, there's plenty of activity for all ages.
Ed Sheeran Performs
28-31st August
Ed Sheeran is performing at Øresundsparken on August 28 & 31, bringing his signature acoustic hits to Copenhagen in an open-air concert setting.
Ironman & Mini-Triathlon
17th August
Athletic? Jump in—or cheer from the sidelines—during the annual Ironman Copenhagen. The full triathlon typically happens in Amager Strandpark and includes swimming, cycling, and running over two days - this is sold out for registrations! Thousands of athletes compete, and spectators can usually watch events for €30–150.
Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival
About August 15-18th
Located across various venues, this festival is a feast for the senses. Enjoy street food markets, pop-up dinners, chef demos, and communal meals celebrating Nordic cuisine. Princess Marie has previously acted as patron of the festival, underscoring its national significance.
Copenhagen Fashion Week
August 4-8th 2025
Twice a year, the Danish capital transforms into one of the fashion world's most exciting epicentres — Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) - and arriving in the city this August is the Spring /Summer (SS26) Season: a week for all fashion pilgrims to gather in the city and check out what the industry innovators are bringing to life for next year.
Running from August 4 to 8, 2025, Spring/Summer 2026 will bring together top international buyers, editors, experts, models, influencers, and designers for four packed days of runway shows, installations, events, and the CIFF trade show. Beyond the glamor, what makes CPHFW truly distinct is its deep commitment to sustainability and progressive fashion values.

Copenhagen Pride Week 2025: A Celebration of Love, Rights & Visibility
August 9–17, 2025
Copenhagen Pride Week is Scandinavia’s largest free LGBTQIA+ event, blending joyful celebration with powerful activism. Running for nine days, it features over 100 free events including art exhibitions, live music, drag shows, workshops, debates, and family-friendly activities.
From August 8 to 16, City Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen) transforms into Pride Square—the vibrant hub of Copenhagen Pride Week. This lively space hosts a packed program of free, public events, including live music, drag performances (don’t miss the iconic Drag Night), workshops, debates, sports, food trucks, family activities, and the Big Queer Flea Market. True to the spirit of Pride, everything is open to all and completely ticket-free.
This year’s theme, “Same for Everyone,” promotes equality and human rights through culture, community, and protest. The heart of the festivities is Pride Square, with free access to all programming.
The highlight? The Pride Parade on Saturday, August 16 at 1:00 PM, drawing more than 250,000 people for a vibrant march from Frederiksberg City Hall to City Hall Square, followed by massive afterparties throughout the city.
More than just glitter and fun, Copenhagen Pride is a powerful platform for visibility, inclusivity, and the universal right to live and love freely.

Summer Pride Party

Get ready to celebrate Pride in style! The Downtown Summer Pride Party returns as part of Copenhagen Pride Week—one of Europe’s most vibrant LGBTQI+ celebrations. Following last year’s unforgettable bash, this year’s event promises the same electric atmosphere, just with a slightly more intimate setup at the beloved Downtown Bar.
Expect outdoor bars, foam-filled fun, and an all-night soundtrack of dance-worthy beats. The energy will be high, the vibes will be fabulous, and the spirit of Pride will shine through every moment.
