Perhaps the Most Affordable Hostel in
Copenhagen
Notice to mariners: "Copenhagen is an expensive city,
quite expensive.", And therefore the accommodation is no
exception.
After searching Mi bauld de blogs found
that Copenhagen Downtown Hostel is pretty
good and “cheap" for good hostel accommodation in Copenhagen.
Copenhagen Downtown is perhaps the cheapest accommodation in Copenhagen.
Location
“It is in the old part of
Copenhagen. If you drew a straight line between the famous Nyhavn street
and the town hall square, most would be in the middle. You have all the
attractions of the old city near, it can not be better placed.”
Restoration
“They
are restoring most of the hostel, from changing aluminium windows from outside
to paint the entire hostel inside. Between that and the exquisite
cleanliness, I think you can’t ask for more of a hostel: clean and modern."
Here are 6 reasons to stay with Copenhagen Downtown Hostel
1. The bar area, reception and leisure
2. The portion of bedrooms is accessed from another door to the street where we catch an elevator and go to the assigned plant.
You can only access your floor with your key and your room only, of course :)
3. Room
We the ordered double with private bath. We got a bunk, I do
not know if there are beds in other rooms, for Josep and me separate beds was
perfect. Here are the new retro rooms that are already available, gorgeous.
4. Showers and shared bathrooms.
Although we had bathroom in our room also had access to shared bathrooms. The truth is they were spotless
5. Bar
The bar is in the same area as the reception – it’s the area
for socialising. Happy hour beer at specific times, free dinner and breakfast
all you can eat excellent (buffet) for less than 9 €, which is
appreciated in Copenhagen
6. Storage Area
You have paid lockers for luggage (check in is at 14h and
check out at 10am). VA 5 kronor coin and paid the 40 hour or all day
(about 5 euros).
