Culture Night 2022 Takes Over Copenhagen
October 14th 2022

One of the most popular annual events, Culture Night, or Kulturnatten, takes place each autumn as a celebration of culture. For more than 27 years this event has taken place each October and been one of the most popular events for locals and tourists alike. Be inspired by sights around the city that you normally only visit during the day as they open their doors to a night of events and activities after dark. More than 250 sites such as museums, parks, and theatres will be open for this one-day event.

The event is designed to represent different aspects of Copenhagen's culture and to showcase this across various locations and through events. Each neighborhood around the city will have different events taking place on this unusual night, and with a Culture Pass (which you can buy here) you can experience them all!

The Culture Pass allows entry to all the events and also free public transport including the Metro from 4pm until 4am. The cost is DKK 110 and can be bought online or at any 7-Eleven shop in the city centre, or various museums and libraries around town. Children under 12 are free.
