Q) What are the rates for rooms, bed linen and breakfast?
A) The prices depend on when you want to stay at the hostel. For a general price list please select ‘Rooms’ under the top navigation bar. The price for bed linen is DKK 60,00 (sleepingbag is not allowed). Breakfast DKK 65,00 / DKK 35 for children
 

Q) How do I find Copenhagen Downtown?
A) Behind ‘Strøget’ in a cosy square named ‘Vandkunsten’ in the very heart of Copenhagen.

Q) Can I bring my sleeping bag?
A) It is not allowed to bring sleeping bags to Copenhagen Downtown. Our bed linen consists of a package of linen and towels (price: 60,00 DKK). You may, however, bring personal sheets and towels.

Q) Where can I park?
A) There are parking facilities at ‘Vandkunsten’ (price/hour: DKK 25,00 ). Parking house services are also available (price/day: DKK 145,00). You can also park for free at ‘Flintholm’ Metro.

Q) Is a hostel registration card required to stay at Copenhagen Downtown?
A) Anyone 18 and over must show a Youth Hostelling International Membershipcard. Price for one year: DKK 160. Alternatively you can buy a guest card at the price of DKK 35,00 per night. Groups over ten persons only need a group registration card (price: DKK 200,00 )

Q) How do I make a reservation?
A) You can make a reservation simply by using the ‘online booking’ facility here at the site. You are also welcome to make reservations by e-mail or phone. We do, however, charge an administration fee of DKK 100,00 for the latter service.

Q) Can I get a discount on my reservation?
A) Already, our concept is based on a low price structure. Therefore, we have no room for further discount.

Q) Do all rooms come with a private bath and toilet?
A) 25 of our rooms come with private bath and toilet. The remaining rooms have access to bathrooms of high standard close to the rooms.

Q) When can I check in / When must I check out?
A) Check in is from 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Check out is no later than 10 o’clock in the morning.   

Q) Is there Internet access?
A) Internet access is available for payment.

Q) What are the opening hours at Copenhagen Downtown?
A) Daily from 7 o’clock in the morning until midnight.

Q) Is there a public kitchen at Copenhagen Downtown?
A) No not yet, but there are public kitchen facilities that can be used to some extent pr. 01.01.09
