Hit the beach

Not every city can boast a 5km beach but Copenhagen is spoilt with Amager Beach Park. This artificial sandy beach is easily accessed by Metro and is the perfect spot to bathe, picnic and generally kick back with the locals.

If you want to make the very most of the summer then join the sunshine vibe and make a date with an ice cream on the city's glorious beach. This spot is also popular for concerts and activities so find out more here
