Not only is Balmer’s already a Famous Hostel, representing the best hostel in Switzerland right now, it’s also joined the St Christopher’s Inn family of hostels as their mountain party place! About Balmer’s Hostel in Interlaken
This family hostel is the first private one in Switzerland and over 60 years old; still providing ace accommodation and rocking great parties! This hostel is known for it’s beautiful views, awesome parties, fantastic staff and cute… Swissness! There’s no hostel like it. So - let’s go!!
Whether you’re into skiing, paragliding, fondu or DJ dancing the night away - Balmer’s has it covered. It’s a great place to meet people, or to go in a group, and the fun and friendly atmosphere is sure to make you want to come back again. It’s a home from home, but - better!!
Partying at this award winning hostel
If you like to party, then Balmer’s is the place for you. Not only do they offer great apres-ski with fondus and their cosy restaurant and bar, they also have an awesome underground club. We have enjoyed a few happy hours there and found ourselves doing a jaeger train more than once… and we loved it!! If you’re lucky enough to be here in summer then get yourself to the bbq in the beer garden before hitting the dance floor. Good times.
Activities at Balmers in Interlaken
Err - too many to name!! In winter here you can ski, snowboard, snowshoe, snow anything, in spring and summer get ready to get wet with white water rafter, canoeing, kayaking, canyoning, paragliding, parachuting, rock climbing - all kinds of jumping and swimming and mountain hiking. On those long summer evenings you can relax and enjoy BBQs in the Balmer’s beer garden or jump in the hot tubs at their tent village - under the stars!! We love this place, and when they say you'll have the time of your life here - they mean it!!
